FALC Wake County Teen Exhibition

The Fine Arts League of Cary is delighted to continue to provide the Wake County Teen Exhibition as a way to promote and encourage young artists on their art journey. This program aims to inspire the next generation of creative thinkers by providing the opportunity to exhibit in a formal gallery setting and to be recognized for their work through an awards reception attended by local arts professionals and arts lovers. School art programs with winning submissions will be also awarded a portion of the matching total of awards monies. Specifically, the total amount of FALC Awards, $4700, will be divided evenly by the number of schools with winning entries, no matter how many or what level from each school and awarded directly to the school art program. 

1st Place - $750
2nd Place - $500
3rd Place - $300
3x Honorable Mentions  - $50 each (total $150)

In addition, in recognition of FALC's 30th year, The Fine Arts League of Cary has added two Founders Awards in the name of our founders Joyce McKee and Rocky Alexander. Each of these will be awarded for $1500 each. The Joyce McKee Award will be granted for "a work that tells of the artist's passions"  and The Rocky Alexander Award will be granted for "a work that conveys good use of water media".

Jerry's Art-a-Rama will present a Jerry's Award at the event.

Meredith College will award 3x $1000 scholarships. 

The exhibition runs from May 10th - May 18th
