INTERACTIVE PRINTMAKING DEMONSTRATION WITH SHARON digulio

Sharon DiGiulio will offer a hands-on interactive demonstration of an ancient printmaking technique using Speedball's Akua inks and gel plates. Sharon has done hundreds of workshops through Jerry's Artarama and now offers workshops in various media locally and around the country.  The Events Committee will share more details on Sharon and her demonstration with you before the meeting.

Artist Bio: Sharon DiGiulio 

Sharon DiGiulio graduated from Central Michigan University earning a degree in Fine and Applied Arts. Working in Key West as a graphic designer, she began her career in the art industry. She then moved to Raleigh, NC with her young son, Zach. There, she was the art director of a screen-printing company. Next, working in customer service, marketing and sales, DiGiulio took on the position of event coordinator at Jerry’s Artarama. She has hosted thousands of art workshops through Jerry’s retail store and Art of the Carolinas, where she was the director since its inception in 2000. Now retired, Sharon continues to work and teach in several different media including collage, encaustic painting, acrylic painting, printmaking and oil/resin painting, offering workshops locally and around the country. She is represented by galleries in North and South Carolina. Sharon and her husband share a studio behind their home where they offer workshops.
