NCMA Park Tour for FALC Members

We are excited to announce FALC’s first ever NCMA Art Park tour! 

The tour will be guided by FALC member, Karen Moffitt, who has been a docent at NCMA for several years.

WHEN:Friday June 25 @ 9:30 AM

Where: North Carolina Museum of Art Park. The Ellipse in the Park is the meeting place. It is an oval lawn near the upper parking lot along Blue Ridge Rd.

TOUR INFORMATION

You must sign up on the registration form.  An  email address is required to sign up for this event. Groups are limited to 15 people.  

NCMA Art Park Tours typically last up to 90 minutes depending on the group‘s interest and the weather. To begin the tour, a background history of the museum and the park is presented.  The tour will include a walk just over a half mile at a leisurely pace on a paved sidewalk.  We will stop to observe and discuss 10 to 12 pieces of art during the walk and Karen, our docent will encourage all attendees to ask questions and share observations and experiences while the art is discussed.   

For a post-tour refreshment, those interested, an optional , self-pay visit to NCMA snack bar
