Artist's Statement
Oh! The places you’’ll go and you have been… Nature and landscapes demands examination and it is timeless. My travels through my childhood has drawn me towards landscapes. I try to bring what I visualize on the blank canvas. The thought is quick and also the execution is accelerated using Acrylics. Some parts are painted abstract and loosely while for some parts of painting I try bring in the realism. Its a mix of both that I like to do while I paint. The fast drying acrylics challenges and appeals you at the same time. The pieces that come out - stand out, the realism part catches the attention and the abstract part extends the vibes. Artist's Bio
My name is Devanshi Prajapati. I am an Engineer by education, and an artist by passion and now profession! I have been self-taught most of the time, while I did a great art teachers in life which showed up at different stages who kept re-kindling my love towards art. I love painting landscapes from flora to faunas. As much as I love to see real pictures, there is something I always add from my pocket as a part of my visualization as a form of abstract part in my landscapes. I paint using Acrylics, they rush me and challenge to accelerate the process and get me to quick think on what to do next. As much as the art in itself involves me in the process, its also calming to see each step coming out.
