Artist's Statement
My current artwork rearranges natural materials in unusual ways. My aim is to create art that improves our relationship with and understanding of the natural world. Nature unites us everyday, everywhere. Many of my pieces are mixed media. I also create installations that use materials and work in nature using trees to bring notice and to amplify their view as sculptures by painting on them.
Artist's Bio
I have lived in many parts of the country before settling in Cary and have been a visual arts teacher for many years. Most recently I worked at Apex High School as the chairman of the Arts Department.
