Artist's Statement

I have always felt a strong connection with nature. I love drawing and painting organic, living things. My objective as an artist is to capture the beauty of nature on canvas. Drawing and painting are the vehicles that I use to convey my emotional connection to nature to others. I have been drawing since I was a small child and have been painting since 2003. My preferred subjects are landscapes, wildlife, still life, portraits, and figures. I paint with oils and watercolor, and I draw with charcoal and graphite.
