Catherine Kramer treehouse gardens art treehouse_gardens@msn.com www.treehouse-gardens.com 919-260-1844 Catherine Kramer is a multi-media artist who works in fiber art, print-making, and watercolor painting. She has studied with other artists and teachers at the University of Minnesota, Durham Arts Council, John Campbell Folk Art School, TerraCotta Art, Pocosin Arts, and others. She is a signature member of the Watercolor Society of North Carolina, the Orange County Artists Guild and the Durham Artists Guild. Her work has been displayed at many local venues since 2008. In 2023 her painting “Adagio” received the Permanent Purchase Award from the Watercolor Society of North Carolina.

Catherine’s watercolor paintings depict the ever-changing natural world. Trees, clouds, water, and rocks capture and reflect light and color in a way that can be observed only momentarily, as the light passes and changes. The bird portraits offer another glimpse of something beautiful and transient. Together these paintings are a reminder of the beauty and vulnerability of our local landscapes and wildlife.
