Baschon

Born and raised in North Carolina. I love all forms and genres of art....music, dance, and Art itself. I have dabbled in many different crafts and art medias such as crochet items to polymer clay and beaded jewelry. But now I believe I have found what it is I am supposed to be doing and that is Mixed Media on Canvas. I love animals! I have 3 cats. A lot of my art has cats in it lol. I am a practicing Wiccan and love nature and the outdoors. Many of my art pieces depict a fantasy/nature "vibe" to them.....falling into Surrealism. I am currently vending at local festivals and pop up markets in the Triangle area of Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill and some surrounding areas in North Carolina.

In my art I incorporate lots of texture, fantasy, whimsy, and magic in a unique and eye catching fashion that draws the admirer in and makes them want to look deeper to see what else they may find in the piece. I want people to enjoy my art and experience that "WOW" feeling each time they see it just as I do! I use everything from paints, adhesives, and photos to simple beads, and tiles, Estate jewelry and Repurposed items. The list is endless! I also try to use items from other artist as well. It's really cool to tell someone that the piece of art they just bought may have items on it from Canada, Egypt, the Ukraine, or just Charlotte or Ramseur. It makes the art that much more interesting...as if they found themselves a little bit of Magic!
