BERENSON

A middle school math and science teacher in my early years, I managed to take a few art classes here and there as we moved up ad down the East Coast with 4 children. Gathered a PhD in mathematics/computer education and was a professor at NC State for 23 years and given a endowed chair at UNC-G. Now a grandmother of six, a dabble as a very amateur in painting and drawing.

During the Pandemic I lost my creativity, but thanks to Gerry Lynch I am back on track again. Currently I am experimenting with a number of different abstractions of my garden. I have found "Brushes", a $5 app for my i-pad, a helpful tool to experiment with new approaches to painting.
