Rickart

I am a Queer Disabled Femme artist who works in paper creating physical images utilizing both traditional mixed media and beeswax techniques. My process is somewhat planned but mostly organic and results in unique vintage whimsical images with an undertone of feminist and equity themes. I combine my design discipline with a fine art aesthetic to create enduring one-of-a-kind works of art. I try to approach each project with a "beginners mind", filled with excitement and curiosity to see what emerges from the seemingly unrelated bits and pieces of paper in front of me.
