I am a Raleigh-based artist, primarily working with acrylic on canvas. With graduate degrees in City and Regional Planning and Environmental Science from UNC Chapel Hill, I have incorporated elements of environmental and sustainability issues into my work, often in depicting both urban and natural landscapes. I particularly enjoy using a palette knife when painting as it creates a loose, thick texture and allows for easy and carefree movement throughout the piece.
