Koelsch

I have been doing fabric collaged quilts for a few years. I have learned from Susan Carlson . One of my works was recently accepted by the Durham Life and Science museum in their first art exhibit.

I have always been fascinated by primates and the need to provide a habitat that will allow the species to continue to exist. This is a quilted fabric collage of the only male gorilla at the Memphis zoo. Original photo is by Josh Cotten. Size is 38 x 27.
