I am 61 years old and have always created art in some way. I studied pottery at Mary Washington College where I learned the basics of creating pottery and glaze chemistry. Ever since then I have pursued my artistic journey in pottery and painting my own way teaching myself as I go.

I feel like my artwork is my voice. Through my pottery and my paintings I am able to share my love of nature and the joy I feel in the process of creating my art. I am a trained potter and work in high fired stoneware clay. I have a complete home based studio and make most of my glazes as well. I paint rocks with acrylics and now I also work in water soluble oils on canvas. My subjects are animals and florals mostly.
