Ling schell

I am an emerging oil painter based in Cary, NC. Inspired by light, color, nature, architecture, and meaningful objects, I explores the beauty and emotion found in everyday moments. Working primarily in oil, I builds my paintings through layers of color and expressive brushwork. My artistic journey is one of continuous learning, observation, and discovery.

I paint to cature the beauty, light, and feeling I see in the world around me. Oil allows me to explore color, texture, and atmosphere through layers of paint. Whether painting a landscape, animal, still life, or architectural subject, I hope my work invites viewers to slow down, look closely, and connect with a moment of beauty or emotion.
