Hi! My name is Krissy. I am a wife, mother, teacher, small business owner, and now a painter. In my professional life, I teach at Green Hope High School. My sister and I are co-owners of Sapphire and Leo and a part of the Cary Farmers Market. At home, life is a mixture of beauty and chaos with my husband, two children, two pups, and a crazy kitten. While I've enjoyed sketching ever since I was little, I decided to make 2026 a year for me to explore something new: painting. Though I'm very much self-taught, this journey has already taught me so much about myself and what I am capable of creating.

I'm inspired by the beauty of the world and its depth. From the mountains to the sea, I look for layered landscapes to capture each aspect of the pretty places I see.
