I am Joyeeta Neogi, a self-taught watercolor artist with a focus on the natural world. My art inspiration and ideas come largely from the natural world – flowers, trees, and landscapes. Watercolor medium for me is a love affair in which I find myself fully immersed. The fluidity of watercolor perfectly captures the delicate and ethereal nature of floral subjects. I was born in India and currently reside in North Carolina. My paintings have been exhibited in various prestigious international platforms, such as International Watercolor Society (IWS, Indian Biennale), WATERCOLORium Moscow, Fabriano in Acquarello Italy, Japan International Watercolor exhibition (JIWI), Malaysia International IFAM Global, International Watercolor Society Myanmar, India Olympiart, IWS Vietnam, Focus Bangladesh.
