Jill

Davis

Jill M. Davis and Sheri Symanski are sisters who love the outdoors and the beauty we find there. We created Orange Cat Art as an opportunity to share our passion for photography and nature! We display and sell our images as prints, note cards, and calendars through galleries, festivals, and retail locations across the state of North Carolina. Our photography has been featured in renovated homes on the HGTV design series "Love it or List it", as well as in the public offices of the city of Durham. Jill began her photography career in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. (Go Tar Heels! ;) ) She lives in Raleigh with her husband and two cats. Sheri lives in Concord with her family and has a background in athletic media relations and non-profit management. She loves hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains. (As you can see from her photos!)

Jill & Sheri are nature and landscape photographers who love lugging our digital cameras everywhere we go - from the beach to the mountains, from local city parks in Raleigh and Concord to our amazing National Parks all across the country! From these digital image files, Jill produces archival gallery-quality giclee prints. We offer these prints matted or framed in a variety of sizes. Jill also prints our images as note cards on textured watercolor paper, which she folds and trims these by hand. From vast awe-inspiring scenery to delicate treasures like the dew on a lily petal, our hope is to share an appreciation of our natural world and the beauty that is all around us.
