I started my artist journey as a decorative tole painter 26 years ago. I enjoyed my first 10 years painting realism with acrylics but after visiting Paris and watching artists in some of the famous museums paint in oils I came home and switched to impressionism and oils. I also love to travel so I enjoy taking watercolors with me to do travel sketching around the world. I have dappled in Plein Air over the last 2 years and would like to do more.

I am an artist who loves to learn and continually grow. I enjoy taking workshops and classes, and I often do studies to strengthen my skills. At this stage of my life, art is a hobby, but every moment I spend painting brings me joy. I am grateful for the ability to see the world through an artist's eyes—appreciating the colors, shadows, and light that transform everyday scenes into paintings.
