Heather Eck is a visionary intuitive artist, spiritual teacher, and host of the podcast Your Radiant Spirit. With a background in corporate leadership and a deep calling toward the healing arts, she creates intuitive paintings and therapeutic art experiences that support emotional and physical healing, spiritual growth, and energetic alignment. Blending her spiritual studies with her natural gifts of synesthesia and clairsentience — the ability to see and feel color as emotion and energy — Heather’s visual work is a form of soul medicine. Through both the viewing and the making of art, she invites people into a slow, sacred space of awareness, reflection, and restoration. Her paintings are more than objects; they are mirrors. Each one is created with the intention of holding space for what the soul is ready to process or receive. Heather believes that witnessing color and form, especially when grounded in intuitive energy, has the power to shift emotional patterns, open the heart, and guide spiritual healing. Heather was named one of Cary Magazine’s Movers & Shakers for 2025 and was selected for the renowned Château Orquevaux artist residency in France. Her award-winning work has been featured in more than 30 exhibitions and covered by outlets including Vogue, WRAL, Canvas Rebel, and Midtown Magazine. Through Spirit Portraits, healing art sessions, The Color Healing Community membership, and her growing podcast audience, Heather’s mission is singular: to return people to their center — to the deep well of wisdom, clarity, and Spirit that already lives within.

I paint what I feel before I know what I am seeing. Color is my first language. Before words, before form, before thought — there is color. I was born with synesthesia, the experience of seeing color in sound, emotion, and energy, and I have spent my life learning to trust what that perception reveals. Clairsentience — the felt knowing of energy — is my other guide. Together, they inform every painting I create. My work is not planned. It is received. I begin each painting by setting a clear intention — a word, a prayer, a healing energy I want the work to carry — and then I allow color to lead. The result is a visual field that holds that intention in its very pigment, offering it back to anyone who pauses long enough to receive it. Tetelestai emerged from a desire to create work rooted in the sacred — in the ancient and enduring stories of faith, healing, and divine love. These paintings are not illustrations of spiritual concepts. They are spiritual experiences rendered in color. Hosanna. Hallelujah. Merkabah. Each title is a portal. Each painting is an invitation. I believe art is medicine. I believe color heals. I believe that a painting, created with intention and viewed with openness, can shift something in the body, calm something in the mind, and open something in the heart. This is not metaphor. This is the work.
