I grew up in Kansas and as an IBM employee, lived in Seattle, Dallas, and DC. Since retiring, I built a log cabin in the Rocky Mountains, and later moved to cities that interested me. The Cary area is especially beautiful and I plan to stay. I enjoy visiting my sons and grandchildren in Berlin, Germany and Helsinki, Finland.

Impressionist paintings with lively movement and color are my areas of study. I recently moved from Georgia where I belonged to an art society. Members met in homes and studied the masters with their own interpretations. I am interested in developing and exploring new forms of work, and movement in all its varieties.
