Based in Apex, North Carolina, I am an emerging, mostly self-taught artist working with watercolor, acrylics, inks, and mixed media. With a background in fine art and theater, my creative journey has been shaped by both formal study and hands-on exploration. I’ve taught workshops in watercolor and acrylic palette knife painting, and my work has been featured in various artist retail spaces and market shows throughout South Florida and North Carolina.

My art journey began in childhood, shaped by curiosity, creativity, and a deep love for nature. Growing up in a military family meant moving often, which helped me find beauty wherever I landed. I aim to reflect the simple grace of God’s creation through vibrant colors, varied textures, and natural materials—hoping to spark peace, joy, or delight in others. I work primarily with acrylics and watercolors—two contrasting mediums I love for their unique qualities. Acrylics let me build rich textures with palette knives, while watercolors offer fluidity and transparency. Inspired by what moves me, I often explore other materials like charcoal, pastels, bark, driftwood, textiles, and found objects. Breathing new life into discarded items is a passion of mine, and friends often bring me treasures to transform. I've painted on everything from fences to fabric, inspiring my Renewed Collection—art created with repurposed materials. I believe we are all made by a Master Artist, and creativity lives in everyone—whether through art, music, cooking, building, storytelling, or teaching. Whatever your medium, the magic is in creating with joy.
