I have always loved to draw and paint. I was born on Long Island and now reside in Cary, North Carolina as a self employed artist. I have studied at the Art Students League and the Fashion Institute of Technology both in New York City. I have a degree in Fashion Illustration and a Fellowship in Folk Art Studies from the American Folk Art Museum in New York. I was a resident artist and instructor at The Studio in Apex, North Carolina.

I am an intuitive painter. I paint in response to the inner leading of the spirit that its inside me. I rarely have an idea in my head as i approach my canvas. that being said, I believe that as an artist pursues their craft with intention and integrity they will be rewarded with vision and skill to create thing of beauty and truth. As an abstract painter I enjoy working in acrylic paint the most, however I like the diversity of all the mediums that are out there in the market. As a creative person I am always challenged to explore new techniques which sometimes leaving the old behind. I think the best painters are the risk takers. It's the best place to be and where the real rewards are for the artist.
