As a 40 year career Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, I used the colors of the rainbow, ROY G BIV, to advise clients about nutrient dense foods. My combined passions for art and nutrition were further expressed in my studies with food photography. My food photography was used in nutrition blogs. Upon retirement as a nutritionist in 2019, I pursued my lifelong dream of becoming a visual artist and switched mediums from food to watercolor. It has been a glorious ride.

I paint to capture the essence and colors of nature and transform them onto paper with tinted water and brushes. I know I am satisfied with my paintings when I can feel the same energy from them that I experience on my daily walks through the woods.
