About My Art
Jeanne Bryk Tanner is a Cary-based mixed media fine artist whose work reflects the rhythms of nature and her life experiences. Recognized for her artistic talent from a young age, she participated in various art classes and earned accolades as a premier school artist. Jeanne pursued formal art education in diverse disciplines before shifting her focus to Occupational Therapy at Ohio State University, where she combined her artistic skills with therapeutic practices to aid individuals facing physical and mental challenges.
Her experiences working with medical illustrators and photographers, along with her travels in Europe-especially in France-have significantly influenced her art, drawing inspiration from Renaissance and Impressionist styles. Now transitioning from her occupational therapy career, Jeanne fully dedicates herself to painting, creating oil artworks that resonate with viewers by transforming cherished memories into visual experiences. Through her art, she invites others to connect with nature and find peace, hoping to inspire them to view the world through her perspective.
