Lovelace

Beverly creates both functional and decorative pottery using light stoneware and porcelain to show off colorful glazes and underglazes. Methods include watercolor inspired underglaze painting, crystalline glazing, marbling, carving, resists, and drippy flux glazes - with intentional glaze drips “caught” by stable glazes. She enjoys making pottery for different seasons and holidays - so you may find luminary snowmen in winter, jack-o-lanterns and pumpkins in autumn, and flowers, and birds & suns in spring and summer. Her goal is to bring joy into everyday spaces, with useful pieces, that are also fun and beautiful.

I am a ceramic artist, mostly functional and wheel thrown. I am a member artist at Cary Gallery of Artists, and my work is also at Bayleaf Market and Hartwell Raleigh.
