My name is Audrey Rougeot, I've lived in Torrington Ct. most of my life. My husband and I raised 3 children. We recently moved to the area to be near our children and grand babies. I've been a member of the Washington Art Association in Washington Ct. There I study oil painting with Robert Lens and Edward Splaulding Devoe for 10 yrs. The last 2 yrs I belonged to the Tilton art association of New Hampshire and was involved in their gallery. I was a member of the board and all so displayed and sold my work.

Landscapes and seascapes are my passion. I love painting Plein air in the middle of all Gods glory. Painting old barns has so much to say as nature returns it back to the earth. It tells the story of where it's been and who passed through it. Standing by the ocean, breaths life into me as I paint the ebb and flow of the water. Telling the story of how everything can be washed anew.
