Gammon

I’ve appreciated art my entire life but didn’t come to it on my own until 2017. I’m self taught and broadly inspired. I conduct public health research during the day and paint on nights and weekends. I was honored with the Cary Gallery of Artists Emerging Artists award in Spring 2021, as part of the Small Treasures Show.

My paintings are my soulful adventures. I use acrylic on canvas to paint works that range from abstract to realistic. I use my palette knife often for great texture and minimized mixing of colors. I also like to cut, stain, and mount my own frames with pine, poplar, and oak wood.
