Artist's Statement

My practice concentrates on the exploration of light and space, incorporating new visions deconstructing the traditional sealant and sky scapes of North Carolina to enable a new, more urgent way of seeing and interacting with the environment.These places may not not last in a recognizable state beyond our life times thus degrading our connection to the land.I just have to try to catch it!
