In 2014, I returned to my art practice after years of painting every surface in my house. I made space in my home to create, I picked up acrylic paints and brushes and began to paint iconic historic locations around the Triangle. As part of the Raleigh Urban Sketchers, I experimented with watercolors and enjoyed using them to paint plein air urban landscapes. I say I paint people, places, and pets, and that pretty much sums up the subjects that capture my interest.
