About My Art

In 2014, I returned to my art practice after years of painting every surface in my house. I made space in my home to create, I picked up acrylic paints and brushes and began to paint iconic historic locations around the Triangle. As part of the Raleigh Urban Sketchers, I experimented with watercolors and enjoyed using them to paint plein air urban landscapes. I say I paint people, places, and pets, and that pretty much sums up the subjects that capture my interest. My art booth, Lindsey's Fine Art, appears monthly at the Cary Farmers market and local festivals. I enjoy connecting with people when I paint plein air using watercolors
