Men of FALC: Call for Art

Attention Men of FALC!

We are so excited to showcase your artistry in a special one-night exhibit! You are invited to exhibit up to 3 pieces of your art (2D or 3D) at the Matthews House in Cary on Friday, March 28. We have reserved the Grand Ballroom for this fun evening.

Because there is no hanging system in this beautiful event space, we ask that you bring your own easel(s) to accommodate your piece(s). We will provide tables for tabletop easels and for 3D pieces. Some limited space will also be available on portable art display panels; contact Tim Tietgen (timtietgenart@gmail.com) if you'd like to reserve some space on a panel.

There is no entry fee, and no curation, just the usual 25% FALC commission on sales. We will have point-of-sale devices on hand for immediate sales. The Matthews House is a popular destination on Cary's Final Friday Art Loop!

When:

Friday, March 28, 5 to 8 pm (please plan to arrive by 4:30 for setup)

Where:

The Matthews House (Grand Ballroom), 317 W. Chatham St, Cary

To apply:

By March 14, email Gretchen Moore (gretchenmoore84@gmail.com) with the following details for each piece you're planning to bring:

-- Type of art (painting, carving, sculpture, etc.)

-- Medium (oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, wood, glass, etc.)

-- Size (width and height)

-- Title

-- Price (or indicate Not for Sale)

We need this info for space planning and for the title cards we'll provide to accompany your art. Also, please indicate if you can assist either with setting up the exhibit or with photographing the event. Thanks!

Notes:

-- Please label each piece and your easel(s) with your name and contact info.

-- Plan to take unsold art (and easels) home at the end of the evening.

-- If you have business cards, bring them so interested folks can contact you later.

-- Be sure to invite your family, friends, and neighbors.

-- Don't forget to apply by emailing Gretchen by March 14!
