CALL FOR ART: Pro’s Epicurean Aug 2025 - Feb 2026 Exhibit

Pro's Epicurean Ristorante (https://www.prosepicurean.com/) in downtown Cary is excited to welcome a new exhibit of FALC member art! Our Mediterranean-themed art is a perfect backdrop to the Italian and French fare served in Pro's casual, eclectic setting. FALC art traditionally sells briskly at Pro's. Diners leisurely enjoying fine food and cocktails can't help but be captivated by the 35 pieces of our art adorning the gallery wall.

As always, you're invited to submit up to 5 pieces for an entry fee of $15 per artist. Multiple pieces may be selected by the Pro's owners, who have the final say on the exhibit. The exhibit runs for 6 months (Aug 19 - Feb 23, 2026), and art that is sold is immediately replaced by art on the waiting list.

The Mediterranean/European vibe of this exhibit is intentionally broad. Think whitewashed villas, azure harbors, sidewalk cafes, fresh produce, lush vineyards, citrus groves, lavender fields...the mind reels! Typical 2D media accepted includes oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, photography, mixed media, and fabric art.

Requirements:

Art must be for sale

Art must be framed or gallery-wrapped

Art must arrive dry, wired, and ready to hang

Art must be the artist’s original work

No reproductions or prints unless they are original photographs

Minimum size: 8 x 8 inches

Maximum size: 50 x 50 inches, no more than 25 lbs

Art must be labeled on the back with your contact info, title of piece, medium, and price

Dates:

July 6 -- Submissions begin on CaFE

July 25 -- Last day for submissions on CaFE

July 30 -- Artist notifications

Aug 18 -- Art dropoff, 10 am to 1 pm

Aug 19 -- Exhibit opens

Feb 23 -- Exhibit ends

After FALC's 25% commission fee, a check is mailed to the artist.
