I started painting, primarily in oils, when I first came to live in the United States in 1969.  Since then I have studied under Dixie Lee Lerro, Finn Dahlin, Barbara Dix and Linda Holmes.  I moved to the Raleigh area in 1981.  Originally from England, I grew up in Somerset, on the edge of Exmoor, and I especially enjoy painting thatched cottages from that area.  I also enjoy painting landscapes, dogs and other animals.
