Miriam Pinkerton

After having worked in watercolor, acrylic, mixed media and collage for years, I have recently discovered pastels.  I enjoy their rich, vibrant colors and the way they feel as they go on the paper. I also work in the other mediums as much as possible, but as of now, pastel is preferred.

A native of Cary, NC, I now live on Oak Island in coastal North Carolina. I have had a life time interest in the arts and find stimulation in exploring new materials and techniques, while studying with such noted instructors as Mary A Braukman, Marilyn Phillis, Mary Todd Beam and Susan Ogilive.
