Don Hamilton - Solo Show at Page-Walker Art & History Museum

The Town of Cary host an exhibit of art by Don Hamilton at Page-Walker Art & History Museum, during the month of September 2017.

The theme of the show is: Many Coats of Colors: Abstracts in Acrylics.

Brian Vines - Solo Show at Cary Senior Center

The Town of Cary host an exhibit of Brian Vines artwork at the Cary Senior Center at Fred G. Bond Metro Park, from July 25 through August 19, 2017.

There will be a variety of my artworks on display including oils, pastels, charcoal drawings, even a bronze bust, in a variety of subject matter. Please come out and enjoy the exhibition.

There will also be an artist's reception on July 28, from 6 to 8 PM. Please stop in and say, "Hi." Light refreshments will be served. Hope to see you there.

This show is dedicated to the memory of a high school friend of mine, James Schmidt, who was always an encouraging supporter of my artwork and insisted that, one day, I put together a show.

Town of Cary is now accepting applications for exhibitions in late 2017-2018 solo and group art exhibition opportunities at six town venues:

  • - Bond Park Community Center
  • - Cary Town Hall
Artists working in any medium are invited to submit an application.

Application deadlines are August 1, 2017 and February 1, 2018.

The Collective Market is looking for vendors for our August market! The Collective Market is centered around the idea that the life of a city comes from a collection of its people and businesses. We are a market that focuses on inclusiveness, not exclusiveness.

At The Collective Market, you will find vendors of all types--handmade, local, direct sales, you name it! The idea is to bring life and energy to downtown Raleigh, to support our fellow small business owners and citizen of Raleigh all at once!

The market will take place from 4-10pm on Aug 4th, which coincides with First Friday!

Jessie Mathers works, Nestled in Love and Through the Crack, have been accepted into the Under Pressure: The Print Exhibition Juried Show at the VAE Gallery in Raleigh.
They will be on display July 7 thru July 27, The opening reception is Friday, July 7, 6 PM to 9 PM.
