Lori LaBerge

Lori uses hand-dyed, hand-cut wool to create original fiber artwork with traditional rug hooking techniques.  Her works are inspired by British architecture, nature, animals, and the simplistic shape of the kimono.

Lori has been creating fiber works for the past 9 years.  She has won Best of Show along with First and Second place awards at the N.C. State Fair.  Lori has been juried into local shows and continues to display works through the Fine Arts League of Cary and other venues.  As a member of The Association of Traditional Rug Hooking Artists, the McGown Guild, and former Secretary of the Piedmont Rug Hookers she is active in promoting the art of rug hooking.
