Ann Howe

I have worked primarily in oil on canvas but have also worked in watercolor over pen and ink. My favorite subjects have been landscapes, buildings and still lifes of fruits and vegetables.

My art education, which has been pursued since I retired from an academic career, has been informal. I have studied under Luana Luconi Winner at her studio in Raleigh and Chad Hughes at the Durham Arts Council and have attended many workshops and classes. I am a member of the Cary Gallery of Artists where my work can be seen.
