Eleanor Fisch

Primarily painting with water soluble oils, I enjoy a wide range of subject matter although I like to go back to landscapes. Notice how the sunlight falls through the trees and look for the color of shadows. I use art to interpret the world around me through use of color, style and emotion.

Always interested in drawing, I earned a Liberal Arts Degree from Union College and a B.A. in Visual Communications from Kean University in New Jersey.  I am a retired graphic designer with 17 years in that field. While my years as a graphic designer have rewarded me with a sense of placement, it is now my joy to create color whether in landscape, still life, or abstract.

I have studied painting under Janice DiGeorgio of Clark, NJ and Frank Covino, author of “Controlled Painting”, been in numerous art shows and juried shows, and I am a past President and Chartered Member of the Fairfield County Arts Association, Fairfield, CT.
