To join, download and complete an APPLICATION FORM and mail it to the FALC address listed on the form, along with a check for the applicable membership dues, listed on the form. The membership year is from January to January. But if you join in the fourth quarter, the dues also cover the following year.

You can also attend any monthly meeting and join at the meeting.

FALC provides public service programs through ongoing art displays throughout Cary, at area retirement and assisted-living homes, local businesses, sponsorship of a student (teen) art show and its Annual Juried Art Exhibition which is open to all artists. The Shows and Exhibitions Page has more about FALC's major shows.

FALC members have a variety of local venues where they can display their work frequently. See the Displaying Your Art page for details.

While individual FALC shows and exhibitions may have some unique requirements, the Display Guidelines at the bottom of the Displaying Your Art page are almost universal for FALC shows.

FALC is a volunteer organization and volunteers are always welcome! There are two types of FALC volunteers: 1. Those who commit to serve in a dedicated manner as a board member, show coordinator, office volunteer, etc. and, 2. those who volunteer occasionally to help get an exhibution up, change a show, provide reception refreshments, etc. Both types of volunteers are needed and appreciated. Please go to the Contact Us section of the Information Page and let us know of your interest in volunteering. Someone will contact you to help determine where you could best help.

FALC monthly meetings are open to the public, as well as all members. We discuss any FALC business-related issues and announcements and feature a wide variety of guest speakers from the art community. They cover topics such as sources of inspiration, as well as techniques and materials used in the creative process. Guest artists often present demonstrations and critiques that inspire and educate artists of all levels.

Please see our Calendar for information about the program for the next meeting.

Monthly meetings are scheduled for 7:30 PM on the fourth Thursday of each month (except August, November and December) at:
The Cary Art Center
101 Dry Avenue
Cary, NC 27511

The Information Page has our mailing address, street address and the phone number of the FALC office. Additionally, at the bottom of that page there is a form which can be used to send us an E-Mail message.
