R. Alexander (Rocky)

R. Alexander paints primarily in watercolor on traditional w/c paper, but most recently on gesso'd paper to which various textures have been added which allows absorption of some of the pigment  and lifting of  paint  where lights can be re-energized and manipulated.  Underpainting with liquid acrylic enhances the color depth!

R. Alexander is a professional artist, and in addition to exhibiting with the Fine Arts League of Cary, is a juried member of Artspace  and exhibits in Nicole's Studio on North Person Street in Raleigh.
