2008 Annual Holiday Members Show: This show is on display from November 2 through January 7, 2009, at the Page Walker Art & History Center (PW).  Eighty-three FALC members each entered one piece of artwork.  The judge was Beth Owens a UNC Charlotte Adjunct Professor. The show reception and presentation of awards (13 monetary prizes) was on Sunday, November 2 at the Page Walker. Don Hamilton coordinated this show assisted by these helpers: Rocky Alexander, Lourdes Fessenden, Eleanor Fisch, Jillian Goldberg, Meera Goyal, Madan Goyal, Ann Hair, Sid Holmes, Jim Homolya, Diana Johnson, Dan Kelley, Linda Koffenbeger, Susan LaMantia, Charlie Shiel, Joyce McKee, Kimberlee Maselli, Wendy Musser, Charles Pierce, and Sudha Soora,  Thanks to all who helped make this a great show.

The top award winners: 1st Place went to Dan Kelley's "Ugandan Boy" 2nd Place was Diana Coidan's "Ducky at Turner Creek" and 3rd Place was Linda Koffenberger's "My Thoughts Took Wing."  Honorable mentions went to: Marylin Bass, Eleanor Fisch, Winkie Fontaine, Richard Green, Ann Hair, Jane Hanck, Nicole Hanner, Sonia Kane, Eric Saunders and Donna Slade.
